coop!
That just goes to show you how much wood this dog house yielded, and I still have some left over for another little project, maybe a mail box, or some flower boxes. Even though I'm still purchasing a bigger chicken coop from TUFF SHED, the little one I'm constructing is going to be my starter coop until the end of September, when the TUFF SHED coop will be installed, and it can also be used as a quarantine, or convalescing coop in the future. That is if I ever finish it! And that brings me to my rant - I HATE CONSTRUCTION!
Why do I hate construction you may ask? Because I'm not good at it, that's why! And the thing that fuels my dismay are those darn D.I.Y shows. Don't you just love how DIY shows make constructing things LOOK so easy, but that is all an illusion, but then isn't that like most things on the boob tube? In a matter of mere minutes you see a pile of rubble, a disaster, effortlessly turned into an awesome finished product, but all that needless and boring in between stuff just falls to the cutting room floor - uh wait, that was in the olden days, now it is all digital. At any rate, we don't get to see the agony of miscalculated measurements and messed up cuts, or the monotony of trudging back and forth back to the chop saw to make yet another pass with its scary screeching blade. The only things I LIKE about construction are: the sweet smell of freshly cut lumber, and the fact that I can watch someone else do it!
I would have documented this project with pictures, but that would have taken even more time I don't have to spend, and besides, I don't want to remember the agony of constructing this project, I just want it to be done! The agenda for today? - work on the little chicken coop - - yay!
