Spring is one of my favorite times of year next to Autumn. The air is warm and full of the sweet smell of flowers! These are some cornflowers (a.k.a bachelor buttons) that are blooming nestled among some sunny nasturtiums in the flower bed near our front door. This picture doesn't do our front curb border garden justice. My husband has a real green thumb! Uhhh... my thumb is more like .... oh let's say a khaki green color. That means I only kill some plants. Roses are fairly safe under the care of my thumb. See this mug? It is holding some geranium cuttings that my husband is propagating (in water) to plant some where else. And do you know what? They will grow! The cosmos are blooming in the back yard cottage garden. I just love their delicate blooms and their lacy leaves! Even the sage is in full bloom in our herb garden! I do so love Spring, and it seems to be making its appearance a little early. Spring is officially here on the 20th. It is SO good to live in So. Cal. ! Happy Gardening!
