The Streak Ends

For the last four days, the girls have been working hard and laying one egg each, thus giving us four consecutive "five egg days."  Alas, the five egg day streak came to an end today.  Miss Butterdud, I mean Buttercup, and Miss Blossom were hold outs today.

What happened?  Did they not get enough rest in their cozy little coop?
Did they not get enough premium organic chow, greens, or enough clean water?
Picture
Was there not enough So.Cal sunshine to set their little egg laying clocks into over drive?

Girls. Why can't every day be a five egg day?

Daisy:  "Apparently, this lady thinks we are egg laying machines Blossom dear."
Blossom:  "A common miss conception Daisy dear.  Just pretend you don't understand her."

Blossom.  I know you understand me, so ya better lay an egg tomorrow, ya little slacker! Kyle and I are hoping for another five egg day tomorrow.
