The Celebration of Gore & Violent Death
This is fairly obvious. I mean, just look at this Halloween display. Tasteless. Disturbing. Some would think it's so "creative." This is out in public for all to see, even little impressionable children. There's no rating system in place for lawn decorations is there? There should be. There are disturbed individuals in the world that enjoy gore like this. They get off on scaring the |
Child Trama
Can you imagine the nightmares the boy on the left will have -- for oh.... I don't know -- decades? My God in heaven! Can you feel his terror? I can! I HATE dolls of any kind. How much more a (bleepedy bleep) demon baby that is glaring at me? And who put this precious little guy through this cruel and unnecessary nightmare? His mother, I would assume? The one person who is supposed to protect him from harm, has apparently, placed a satanic baby in the cart --right. next. to. him! On purpose!!! I think I need a tissue, seriously, my bleeding and tender heart goes out to him. And for those of you who think I'm being ridiculous, might I suggest you don the appropriate costumes and take a long stroll down the yellow brick road in search of a brain and a heart. People, especially children this young, don't need this kind of crap in there lives. Yes, I said CRAP!--AGAIN! Cheese and crackers, courage isn't defined by how much horrific gore you're exposed to without splitting into different alters in order to cope; real courage is doing what's right even though you're scared to do it.
I'd be very VERY SCARED if this poor little boy didn't react the way he did, while in demon baby's glare.
Photo number two.
I would place a safe bet that this child hates his costume. I know my sons hated wearing costumes when they were this young, and this is what Kyle looked like when I put him in one very similar. What was I thinking? I wasn't. But the sight and sound of his trauma quickly brought me to my senses and I took the stupid thing off of him. Maybe that's why he doesn't like me very much, he still remembers the awful day I stuffed him in to a furry lion costume. He probably thought it ate him, and I was the one who fed him to it.
I have learned that sometimes, children have more common sense then their ignorant parents.
Hypocirsy
But for some reason, people kick reason to the curb and say it's okay to knock on the creepy doors of perfect strangers and demand candy, or ELSE. Or else what? Are 4 and 5 year-olds capable of carrying out their threat? "Riddiculous" you must be thinking. Yes, dear reader, it is ridiculous for parents to mindlessly teach their children that it's okay to mask yourself while participating in extortion. These are the same parents that shake their heads and click there tongues when they hear how today's youth are getting more and more violent. Really? What do you expect? "Hmmmm....mommy and daddy said I'm not supposed to take candy from strangers, or be mean to people, but on Halloween, it's okay." It's hard enough to keep from being hypocrites on a daily basis, so let's not make a national holiday out of it.
Greed Is Good
The Mindless Masses
"To act without clear understanding, to form habits without investigation, to follow a path all one's life without knowing where it really leads, such is the behavior of the multitude" - Mencius circa 300 B.C.
- normally modest women dressing in slutty costumes
- visiting the sheriff station for candy screening
- visits to trauma wards for costume malfunctions
- or being hit and killed by a car.
"I'm glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year." ~ Anton LaVey, Founder of the Church of Satan.
