All Work and No Play Is ... Well, Boring!
love working with my hands! Creating things that cause others joy, are useful, that feed the soul with beauty and the body with tasty sustenance, is very satisfying to my soul, and I'm so grateful to The Almighty for giving me the ability to create good things using my hands. Through the years, I have learned that any talent God gives us is not for our own use alone, but are mostly meant for sharing with others.
For those of you who claim to have no creativity, or talent whatsoever, I believe that you are mistaken. You simply don't realize that the area in which you have a natural intuition for, or what comes naturally to you, is your talent. You may not be in the "artsy" right brained category, but you may shine in the left brain realm, or in the realm of the social graces, so please don't under value these valuable gifts. Instead, be thankful for them, and most of all, please share them with others who lack them. On this page I will be sharing my homespun crafting projects with you, dear reader, and if you are, in your own estimation, not a "crafty" person, don't worry about that, because homespun crafting isn't just about aesthetics, its about the beauty of its usefulness, and where it comes from, your heart!
