Kyle's actual x-rays, and a picture of his scared back post surgery. Eww, huh? Just look how crooked his little spine was in the image on the left! There's a glare preventing you from seeing the rod to the right of his much straightened spine, holding it while the bone grafts fuse permanently. The rod stays in there and won't need to be removed unless complications arise. So far, so good. Dr. S used super glue and heavy duty stranded packing tape to close the very long wound. Looks good. So, if this surgeon thing doesn't work out, then he may have a future in packaging. Just kidding Dr. S, you're an awesome orthopedic surgeon!
